Dr. Roberts is an assistant professor at Colorado State University and teaches the
senior capstone course of the undergraduate major in Agricultural Biology. She is a co-PI on a federal grant aimed at improving undergraduate STEM education by incorporating the humanities in science. As a plant pathologist, her research focuses on diseases of wheat and other field crops with motivations to understand the molecular interactions between plants and microbes. Her group has worked extensively on emerging diseases and examining changes in diseases and pathogen populations in the face of climate change.
