Dr. Richard Weiss’s current research is focused on the application of machine learning to cybersecurity education,

and he has been working on the EDURange project since 2011. EDURange is a platform for developing hands-on cybersecurity exercises and a collection of exercises. Dr. Weiss has had four grants from the National Science Foundation to support this project and published over 25 papers from that work. He holds a Ph.D. from Harvard University and a B.A. from Brandeis University, both in mathematics.
