Pierre Lu, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of Educational Research in the Department of Teaching and Learning at The University of Texas – Rio Grande Valley. He received his Master of Education in Human Development and Psychology from Harvard University. Dr. Lu obtained his Master of Science in Applied Statistics and Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from Columbia University. He has extensive experience conducting educational research and evaluating programs. He also has experience facilitating the Learning by Design program. His research interests include STEM education and scholarship of teaching and learning using technology in HSI of higher education. Dr. Lu currently serves as Graduate Program Coordinator for Curriculum and Instruction. Dr. Lu will contribute to the project with his expertise in learning, teaching, and pedagogies.
