Dr. Jonathan L. Hall earned his Ph.D. in science education at the University of Central Florida (UCF) and is the Curriculum Specialist and Activity Directory for the STEM Success Program at the University of West Florida. In this role, he aims to facilitate inclusive communities where all students actively engage in introductory STEM courses. He has worked as a postdoctoral research associate of science education at the University of Connecticut (UConn). At UConn, he taught STEM education graduate seminars and examined how educational infrastructure was re-designed to implement the Next Generation Science Standards. Through strong collaborations, he conducts research and facilitates programs that are focused on social justice in STEM. This work is highlighted by the following: an article in Science Scope titled, Engaging all students in science practices through a cell modeling lesson; and starting the program, Women in STEM: Aim Higher at UCF.
