
Jill Nelson, Ph.D.

Jill Nelson is a program director in the Division of Undergraduate Education at the National Science Foundation where she serves as the lead for the Institutional and Community Transformation (ICT) track of the Improving Undergraduate STEM Education: Education and Human Resources (IUSE: EHR) Program. In addition to IUSE, Dr. Nelson works with the ATE, CAREER, ECR, MSRI, and S-STEM programs. She received a BS in Electrical Engineering and a BA in Economics from Rice University and an MS and PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. When not on rotation at NSF, Jill is a faculty member in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at George Mason University.
