Jalisa H. Ferguson is an Assistant Professor of Chemistry and

earned her Ph.D. from Georgia State University in 2017. She gained additional training as a Research and Teaching Fellow at UNC Asheville before joining the Eckerd faculty in 2019. She is training undergraduate chemists by using computer-aided drug design to identify and then synthesize novel anticancer drugs. She is also interested in discovering new ways to engage students, such as in flipped organic chemistry courses and incorporating ethics into the sciences. http://bitly.ws/xjhx
