Alyson Lischka is a professor of mathematics education in the Department

of Mathematical Sciences at Middle Tennessee State University and has served on the leadership team for the MTE-Partnership since 2016. She currently leads the Research Hub for the MTE-Partnership while also leading her local Middle Tennessee MTE-Partnership team. She led the MODULE(S2) research action cluster of the MTE-Partnership to address the problem of improving mathematics content courses for prospective secondary mathematics teachers. As a PI on the NSF funded MODULE(S2) Project (NSF #1726723) she co-wrote the Geometry MODULE(S2). Her research and scholarship focus on supporting prospective and practicing teachers to develop effective mathematics teaching practices both in methods and content courses. Among other publications, Dr. Lischka has served on the editorial team for two volumes in the Association of Mathematics Teacher Educator’s Professional Series.
