Team-Based Inquiry Learning (TBIL) is a form of active learning that uses the structure of Team-Based Learning to facilitate inquiry-driven instruction in lower division mathematics course. This talk will give an overview of the TBIL pedagogy as well as report on the progress of the TBIL project, which has trained three cohorts of faculty to teach via TBIL; developed open access activity books and resources for Calculus I, Calculus II, and Linear Algebra; and studied the implementation of TBIL by instructors in varied instructional contexts at institutions across the country.
