The Collaborative Replication and Education Project (CREP) is a project that began in 2013 with the mission to provide training, support, and professional growth opportunities for students and instructors completing replication projects, while also addressing the need for direct replications of highly-cited studies in psychology. In this talk, I will present the results of research funded by NSF Grant 2141930, for which we have collected data comparing the effectiveness of CREP as a pedagogical tool to more traditional research projects in the psychology curriculum.
