The Improving Undergraduate STEM Education: Directorate for STEM Education (IUSE: EDU) program supports proposals to improve undergraduate education, develop faculty expertise, prepare K-12 teachers, and provide all undergraduate students with STEM competencies and a basic understanding of STEM concepts and principles. This webinar highlights three opportunities (called “Dear Colleague Letters” or DCLs) within the IUSE program:
- Advancing microelectronics education: we invite proposals to build the knowledge and skills for the microelectronics workforce of the future.
- Equitable and Transformative Approaches to Educating the Semiconductor Workforce (ETA-ESW): we seek transformative approaches to improve and impact education and training of the advanced memory manufacturing, microelectronics, and semiconductor workforce.
- Advancing Quantum Education and Workforce Development: we encourage submission of proposals for projects that will motivate and prepare students for quantum industries of the future.
In this webinar, hosted by the NSF Division of Undergraduate Education (DUE) in collaboration with AAAS, NSF program officers will share an overview of the IUSE program and these three opportunities. After the presentation, join the speakers for Q&A and meet other attendees interested in submitting IUSE proposals.
